The SquashFIT kit comes with an instructional DVD and 50 Circuit Training Cards. Once you have viewed the DVD to see how each station should be performed, you can use the cards to set up circuits of your own at your local courts. It makes session planning quick and easy.
ANYONE can use this kit to improve their fitness and their squash game. All the circuit cards are made to be performed on your own so you do not rely on other peoples skills. This means you can do the circuit training with a huge range of player levels at once.
This is entirely up to you and the group you are training with. You can make them as long or as short as you like and as hard or easy as you like. The power is in your hands!
You can make the session as long or short as you like but if you are doing a session with a fitness/skill mix then you would probably aim for about an hour. The instructions with the kit give different interval timings etc to mix the sessions around.
You can do it by yourself if you like. Really the cards are just instructions on how to do different squash specific exercises. If you were wanting to do a session on your own you could take 4 fitness cards and 4 skill cards and rotate through the 3 cards for 3 minutes each - doing this circuit twice gives you close to an hour of intense/squash specific training.
This depends on how many players you have moving through at one time. When I run the sessions in the morning, I generally have 2 stations on each court. However, there are several stations that require very little court space or they can be done off the court in a free space somewhere. This means you can potentially get 3-4 players per court if you plan the circuit well.
